A Little Bit About Brewster’s

Brewster’s Bar B Que & Fixin’s began, in part, because of my wife’s love of horses and my love of grilling and good food.

We spent many weekends at local horse shows, and while my wife was busy getting ready for her next class, I would be scouting the grounds in search of something to eat other than frozen pizza and funnel cakes. I wanted “real food”.

So, in April of 2005, I converted a small shed on the grounds of the Quentin Riding Club in Lebanon, Pa. into a Bar- B- Que stand and Brewster’s Bar B Que & Fixin’s was born. We’ve been serving up some of the best pork and brisket sandwiches ever since.

Through the years we have continued to grow, adding a stand at Corn Cob Acres, and in 2019, we converted a vacant office building into the new Brewster's Bar-B-Que Trailside. Not far from our old location in Akron, it's adjacent to the Ephrata/Lititz Rails to Trails. We've just recently opened a take out window; perfect for trail walkers and bikers or for a quick meal to go!

We're excited to open another location at the all new Hillside Public House at Doneckers in Ephrata. Originally slated to open in early 2020, it is currently on hold due to Covid-19. We are anxiously waiting for opening day!

All Good Things Take Time

The smoking process is a long one but well worth the wait!

Brewster's pork shoulders and beef briskets start out the same way: wood smoked. Using hardwood such as hickory or oak we slowly smoke the meat until it has acquired that good smokey flavor.

Brewster's own simmering sauce is added to the pork to give it that distinctive Brewster's flavor. Eat it as is or add a little heat with some fiery hot sauce.

Our Brisket is left on the fire to simmer in its own delicious juices. We slice it only after you order to keep in all that smokey goodness.

Brewster's Baked Beans are homemade to give you a flavor that only comes from being made from scratch. Absolutely delicious!
